Then, a temporary bridge will be placed while the final bridge is being built. At the second appointment, we will ensure the last bridge fits appropriately and provide instructions for care and maintenance.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance of dentures and bridges ensure longevity and effectiveness. You are brushing your dentures or bridge with a soft-bristled brush, and mild soap or denture cleaner after each meal is recommended. Be sure to handle them carefully and avoid dropping them, which can cause damage.
Regular dental check-ups are also essential to ensure the health of your remaining teeth and gums and to check the fit and function of your dentures or bridge. We also recommend periodic adjustments or relining of your dentures or bridge to ensure proper fit and function.
